What’s In It For Me? What might I expect from bodywork therapy?

In a video published by the Zero Balancing Touch Foundation in June 2021 the results of research into Zero Balancing were presented. Importantly, the video presents outcomes of sessions as reported by the study participants.

This is what people who have had Zero Balancing experienced:

Mind/Body Integration

Feeling whole, well, healthy, connected
Help a person feel better, and more specifically more connected to their own body in a profound way, to be able to express their authentic, embodied self with ease.

Aligned comfort

Less pain, better movement and flow, better sleep

Relational Ease

Greater connection to self and to others

Emotional Regulation

Increased capacity to feel and process emotion

Self-Understanding

Awareness of self, recognition of habitual responses
100% of participants reported a better sense of being able to handle change.

Spiritual Awareness

Connection to the universe, higher power

Mental Clarity and Cognitive Improvement

Better focus, attention
Ability to solve problems, compute numbers.
100% of participants reported increased mental clarity after a Zero Balancing session.

Expanded States

Insight, creativity
Channels to inner purpose may manifest. Beliefs and habits are more malleable, more open to change.

Embodiment

Feeling present and settled in body

An individual might be more ready for only one or two of these outcomes, at any given session. At times ZB sessions have been transformational. Sometimes its more about peace, relieving tension or regaining balance.

That’s part of the beauty of Zero Balancing: What one might get out of it is largely dependent on what one is truly ready for at any point, conscious or not – outcome is driven by need.

Thus, Zero Balancing can evolve in partnership with the client over time if the client needs that. Or it can be about maintenance, which is also a beautiful thing!

“Even though we (probably) haven't met, I want you to try it, because I want you to feel good. I want you to feel the kind of unbelievably better that I have been feeling since my first Zero Balancing session with Rhys in late 2020.” Christine Jameison
